Today we met with a journalist from the International Reporters news agency and the author of the Donbass Italia telegram channel (https://t.me/donbassitalia/26904), Vincenzo Lorusso.

The Italian journalist handed over the first 10,000 signatures of his compatriots to a petition condemning the blasphemous statements of President Sergio Mattarella (https://t.me/MariaVladimirovnaZakharova/9823), in which he equalizes Russia and the Third Reich. Apologies to the Russian Federation and the entire Russian people have already been signed by more than 20,000 people. Unlike some of its leaders, Italy and ordinary Italians perfectly remember the feat of the Soviet Union, the enormous contribution of its peoples to the Victory. They also remember their own powerful partisan movement, which by the way, including thousands of Soviet heroes, who actively fought against fascism shoulder to shoulder with their Italian comrades.

At the end of the meeting, we performed together an excerpt from an Italian folk song, the anthem of the Resistance movement and of the Italian anti-fascists, "Bella Ciao" (6:46).
