Saturday Studies 2nd Corinthians 13 3-1-2025

We conclude our study through 2nd Corinthians with chapter 13 today. Paul is telling them that he is coming to see them again and will confirm his commission and authority as an apostle by the working power of Christ in him. He encourages them, and us, to take personal inventory of our spiritual well being to see if we are indeed "in the faith", that is a truly born-again, Christ follower. He wants them to know that he has taken his own personal inventory and has not been disqualified. He also wants them to become "complete" in Christ, to mature as a Christ follower. He ends the chapter and the letter with reminding them that the Trinity is with us and the Holy Spirit within us.
