Slob U - Cornfield Sports Pod 02/28/2024

Iowa State athletic director Jamie Pollard called the entire fanbase slobs for the purpose of not selling beer to the entirety of Jack Trice Stadium. The result is that following a tough loss at Oklahoma State the fanbase is now even more unhappy.

Men's basketball preceded the loss at Oklahoma State with a loss at Houston, sending them on a two game skid and likely putting a 2 seed out of reach with only three regular season games to go. The next two games, against Arizona and BYU, are both ranked games.

Women's basketball had a turbulent week with a difficult loss to Baylor where everything seemed to go wrong at once, followed by a fantastic win at UCF where everything seemed to go right all at once. They need to keep clicking as they enter their final game of the regular season this Sunday vs K-State
