How the Republican Establishment KILLED The Never Again Bill

On February 27th, 2025, Minnesota House Republicans tried passing a FAKE Never Again Bill authored by Rep Kristin Robbins. Her bill would still allow Governor Tim Walz to unilaterally declare emergency powers, but limits it to 14 days. Democrats, seeing division on the Republican side, decided to offer a delete-all amendment and insert the language of the REAL Never Again Bill, HF26 authored by Rep Drew Roach.
