Dark Souls Remastered | Iron Golem boss fight, NG+1 with summoned phantom Iron Tarkus

I don't lock onto the boss (target) and just aim for and strike his legs.

When you fight alongside a summoned NPC, is it still considered soloing? You don't need online play to do so. I didn't flag this as solo.
