The priority of prayer, God's will, and the role of women in the local assembly.
Paul is giving Timothy the instructions he needs in overseeing the church in Ephesus.
Paul always begins with the instructions for women before instructing the men.
God will is for all men to be "saved" and to "come to the knowledge of the truth" (1 Tim. 2:4).
We are saved when we believe what the Son of God has done (1 Cor. 15:3, 4).
Often there are many years between salvation and understanding the mystery, in my own case there was 25 years until I learned to be "rightly dividing the word of truth" (2 Tim. 2:15).
Some people come to understand the "mystery, dispensation of grace" given to Apostle Paul sooner, and some never do before they die.
Adam and Eve got us into this mess we are in, but God solved the sin problem.
Satan found it easier to deceive the woman who had received second hand information from Adam.
Men are to hold the leadership position in the local church.
The woman should accept her subordinate role in the church and in the home so she will be saved from deception if they (husband and wife) continues in Pauline faith and charity and holiness with sobriety (sober thinking).
