Douglas V. Gibbs and Ron Partain joined me for Part 3 of our series comparing the Confederate Constitution to the US Constitution. Although very similar, the differences shed some light into all of the nuanced reasons for secession.

Today's episode is mainly about Article 1, Section 8, where the differences highlight the Confederacy's emphasis on eliminating the corruption that results from Internal Improvements and Protective Tariffs.
