Meet my second guest of the day, Mary Ann Mendoza; An Arizona native and "Angel Mom" who lost her son, Sgt. Brandon Mendoza, to a tragic accident involving an intoxicated illegal alien driver in 2014. This loss propelled her into advocacy for stricter immigration policies and border security. Mendoza is a featured speaker at the "Day of Remembrance" event, which follows the Freedom Festival from 4-6 pm at the same location. She will participate in reading the names of Arizonans and first responders killed by illegal aliens in Arizona, honoring their memory and advocating for stricter immigration enforcement. Mendoza has been a strong voice in the Republican Party, previously speaking at the RNC and running for State House in Legislative District 9.
Despite LD9 being a Democratic stronghold, Mendoza garnered significant endorsements, including: Congressman Andy Biggs, former Pinal County Sheriff Mark Lamb, Newly elected (2024) Maricopa County Sheriff Jerry Sheridan and ICE Director, Tom Homan.
This amazing community leader will be a featured speaker at the event following the Freedom Festival, from 4-6 pm at the same location.
