The 12th Match of Women’s Premier League 2025 was played between Royal Challengers Bengaluru Women and Gujarat Giants Women at M.Chinnaswamy Stadium Bengaluru on 27th February, 2025.In this match Gujarat Giants Women defeated Royal Challengers Bengaluru by 6 wickets. In this match Gujarat Giants Women won the toss and opted to bowl first.
Royal Challengers Bengaluru while batting first scored 125 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs and gave target of 126 runs to Gujarat Giants Women to win.In reply Gujarat Giants Women scored 126 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in 16.3 overs and won the match by 6 wickets.
RCBW batted very badly and scored only 125 runs for 7 wickets in 20 overs.Kanika Ahuja top scored with 33 runs from 28 balls only hitting 1 four and 2 sixes. Georgia Wareham remained not out on 20 runs. Smriti Mandhana made 10 runs and Richa Ghosh made 9 runs only.
In reply GGW made 126 runs for 4 wickets in 20 overs and won the match by 6 wickets.Captain Ashleigh Gardner top scored with 58 runs from 31 balls hitting 6 fours and 3 sixes. Beth Mooney scored 17 runs.
Phoebe Litchfield remained not out on 30 runs from 21 balls hitting 3 fours and one six and won the match for GGW. Ashleigh Gardner was adjudged the Player of the Match.
