Avangard AR Upper!

Say hello to the "AVANGARD", the successor to my original SU-15 design from more than a decade ago! I've been fortunate to have been working with Miller Precision Machine from Sarasota, FL, over the last several years. Recently the owner/founder, Houston Miller, was visiting the shop and I gave him a "safe tour". That's not a tour where you're not in danger, that's a look inside my gun safes. So at one point I brought out the SU-15 and he was shocked...he told me he'd be trying to come up with something similar, and here it was. We talked turkey a bit and now he's going to be producing it! That's great news, because I'm really good at coming up with new designs but really crappy at actually putting them out there. Houston has an awesome machine shop and does first rate work! As a bonus, I'll be showing off his pistols a bit. They are some of the nicest I've ever handled!
