We have a big announcement today.

Two weeks ago, I lost my job.

While this was completely unexpected to us, we believe this is all part of God’s plan. After much prayer and reflection, we have decided to answer God’s call and step out in faith to pursue this ministry full-time.

We’ve long wondered how I can transition from full-time work / part-time ministry to doing this work full-time. The plans we entertained were a year or more down the road. God had a different plan. His plan is right now.

It’s become clear God doesn’t want us full-time two, five, or ten years down the road. He wants us now. The hour is late, and God needs His watchman community ready, informed, and on watch around-the-clock.

While the prospect of pursuing this ministry full-time is financially daunting, God just wants us to trust Him. He’s telling us to leave everything and follow Him (Mark 8:34), and that’s exactly what we’re doing.

So what does that look like? And what does all this mean? It means you should expect more in-depth research on the topics and news of the day we cover here. And it means you should see some new, exciting features roll out in the weeks ahead.

To make this a reality, we need your help. First and foremost, we need prayer. Pray for God to give us wisdom and clarity of purpose. Most of all, pray God will bless the work we do here to reach as many people as possible with the Good News of Jesus Christ.

In addition to prayer, we also need financial support. Like everyone, we have bills to pay. So if you find value in the work we do here, we hope you’ll consider becoming a paid subscriber over at the Substack.
