Three men who ran a painting and decorating business - and used the company van to covertly shift multiple kilos of cocaine and cannabis - have been jailed for a combined total of over 20 years.

Operation Leonardo was led by our Serious and Organised Crime Unit and began following the investigation into EncroChat - thought to be a secure network used by criminals. Analysis of the network led to our detectives identifying Paul Ibell, Sean Mooney and Edward Kaye as being involved in a conspiracy to both import and sell class A and B drugs in the Chester, Merseyside and North Wales areas.
