Children's Bible Stories-Love Your Enemies

Luke 6:27 encourages us to love our enemies, do good to those who hate us, bless those who curse us, and pray for those who despitefully use us. We should also give to those who ask us and not take away our goods. We should love those who love us, do good to those who do good to us, and lend to those we hope to receive. We should be merciful, as our Father is merciful. We should not judge, condemn, or forgive those who do not love us. By living by the "Golden Rule," we reflect the mercy and compassion that Jesus offers us. Living by this principle is an act of obedience to Jesus, who embodied service and sacrifice. We are called to extend the same love and mercy to others, as we are all vessels of Christ's love. Recognizing that we are all unworthy of grace, we are called to extend that same love and mercy to others.
