It's Pokémon Day! A day where fans across the world celebrate the release of the original games, Red and Blue.
We attended The Pokémon International Championships at the London ExCel and visited a Pokémon Centre in Singapore to see why fans still love the franchise after 29 years.
The BBC's Mariko Oi also spoke to the CEO of The Pokémon Company Tsunekazu Ishihara about the future of the franchise, its lawsuit with Palworld and - what's happened to Ash Ketchum.
Meanwhile, Mel Ramsay spoke to the Global Esports Director for The Pokémon Company, Chris Brown, about how the franchise still captures the imagination of fans today.
