Small Budget, Big Impact * DIY Pantry & Prep Room Makeover!

Welcome back to Hamilton Homestead! Before garden season kicks off, I’m tackling one last DIY budget facelift—our bonus room off the garage and woodshop. This space holds John’s Man Cave, a dry kitchen area, and shelving for our Prepper Pantry, but it was looking pretty tired. A little paint, some creative DIY, and a first-time attempt at using peel-and-stick contact paper for the plywood countertop have completely transformed the space!
I’ll walk you through the process, including:
*Painting the walls, cabinets, and doors
*Sealing and prepping a plywood counter
*Applying faux concrete contact paper (and my struggles getting started!)
*Finishing touches with shelving and heirloom décor

Oh, and a surprise prize package from the Survival Seeds 2025 collaboration!
