To understand the nature of crystals, it’s essential to realize that everything is fundamentally a part of one great field of energy, vibrating together in a tremendous unified quantum field.

To understand this better, Fritjof Capra explains this in the Tao of Physics:

“Quantum Theory reveals a basic oneness of the universe. It shows we cannot decompose the world into independently existing smallest units. As we penetrate into matter, nature does not show us any isolated ‘basic building blocks’; rather, it appears as a complicated web of relations between the various parts of the whole. These relations always include the observer essentially. [...] In atomic physics, we can never speak about nature without, at the same time, speaking about ourselves.”

Knowing this, we may learn to see everything as a part of ourselves. Thus, crystals are seen as expressions of creation that mirror the same sacred geometric patterns by which we are created. Thus, they seem to be conductors and transmitters of energy. Each crystal has its own geometric lattice and, thus, its own particular radiant energy.

In our exploration with crystals, we would do well to not grow attached to them or believe they are 'the ultimate solution' to our problems. However, just as adding spices to food adds flavors, adding crystals to our spaces and adorning them on our bodies may add a subtle frequency to our field, elevating our mind, body, and soul's connection with God.
