Brookhaven Police Tase & Arrest Armed Suspect After Foot Chase!

Brookhaven, Georgia – February 10, 2025

In the early morning hours of February 10, Brookhaven Police officers responded to reports of a man attempting to open car doors at an apartment complex. While searching the area, officers spotted the suspect, who immediately fled on foot.

Bodycam footage captures the moment officers pursued the suspect, deploying a Taser before taking him into custody. During the arrest, officers discovered a foldable, single-shot .22 caliber pistol concealed in his pocket.

The suspect, whose identity has not been released, now faces multiple charges, including attempted theft from a vehicle, loitering and prowling, obstruction, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and criminal use of an article with an altered ID.
