HFI and POWER meet with H&W Director Alex Adams

Miste and Kristine describe their encouraging meeting with the new Health and Welfare Director, Alex Adams.

Miste advocated for a meeting with the department and parents, to which Director Adams agreed. She is encouraged by the change in direction the department seems to be taking including the policy regarding religion.

Kristine shared her story of when she was separated from her son at his hospital bedside and the legislation she has worked to pass at Idaho's legislature.
