John Glenn is not a hero

Mercury Astronaut & first American to orbit the Earth was never supposed to be the vaunted & celebrated "hero" he became in the public eye. It was, in fact, intended for him to have a flight that was specifically un-noteworthy. Only by an absolute fluke of history did he fall into that status. Perhaps Forgotten History can give this a proper telling one day.
