9 dead in raging California wildfires; one town wiped out

A century has passed since the end of the first World War and some veterans worry that the sacrifices made to protect our country have been forgotten. Winds were expected to weaken Friday afternoon into Saturday. A second round of Santa Ana winds is forecast to whip the area Sunday through Tuesday, though it may be weaker than Friday's.
