This 2016 interview with former Mossad Chief Efraim Halevy has a whole different context to it now

Former Mossad Chief Efraim Halevy, undoubtedly one of Israel’s most accomplished Spymasters still alive today (he turned 90 last year) gave this interview to Qatari government funded network Al Jazeera in May 2016.

I want to draw your attention to is:

1. How this almost legendary spymaster got several things HORRIFICLY wrong here when viewed with the perspective of time;
2. What he thought of Netanyahu under whom he served as Mossad Chief?
3. What he thinks about the idea of Hamas being allowed to continue governing the Gaza strip? and
4. His take on the question of rules and ethics in intelligence work (which he refers to as the “second oldest profession in the world”).

Remember that this is 2-0-1-6 when considering any of the above four questions.
