Welcome back to Musician's Addition! Today we're diving into the Renaissance period (1400-1600) while working from Standard of Excellence Book 3 for alto saxophone. We'll also be learning a new note, low B flat. The exercises will be taking us through the entire range of the alto saxophone!
🎶 Practice Tips:
✔️ If you're struggling with low B-flat, work on building pinky strength and ensuring your saxophone is properly adjusted (leaky pads can cause issues!).
✔️ Break down tricky intervals and play them slowly before speeding up.
