People in Brown County offering their reaction to the shooting in Southern California. Radio host Randy Shannon, who goes by the nickname Shotgun, says this shooting affected him so much that he felt the need to take a break from playing music and talk about it on air Thursday morning. Shannon says this shooting reminded him of the Route 91 Harvest Festival Shooting In Las Vegas last year. He says this shooting feels more like an attack on the country music community rather than just a shooting a bar. He says the country music community is about coming together and supporting one another. He took a break from his show because he wanted to inform country music fans about what happened. "Our show, we try to be light and fun, and help people get off to work with a chuckle, but when something hits close to home like in our country music community, we felt we needed to talk about it,” Shannon says. Shannon also mentioned he fears these types of incidents will become more normal. He says no one should ever be afraid when trying to enjoy a fun night with country music.
