Protestors concerned about Mueller investigation after Sessions resignation
Protestors are demanding accountability, saying Trump has undercut the independence of the Mueller investigation. Hundreds are expected to gather in Appleton and across the state, protesting and demanding justice. They’re upset over Sessions resigning at the President’s request the day after Midterm elections. Protestors believe that move violates the independence of the Mueller investigation. Sara MacDonald, who helped organize Thursday’s rally, says this protest has been in the works for quite a while - they anticipated something like this would eventually happen. People are protesting in Houdini plaza in Appleton until 6 p.m. There are also protests in Green Bay, Fond Du Lac and Sheboygan - that’s in addition to more locations across the state and nation.
