Kherson direction: fighting in the Dnepr delta and intensification of hostilities

In the Kherson direction, a radical change in the operational situation is observed, which for a long time remained relatively stable . Previously, military actions were limited to mutual artillery shelling, attacks by strike UAVs and the activities of reconnaissance and sabotage groups . However, the current phase of the fighting shows a transition to attempts at a tactical offensive by the Russian army.

🔻 Russian troops carried out a maneuver with an approach to enemy positions in the area of the Antonovsky bridge crossing . The use of motorized rifle units in combination with artillery fire support made it possible to advance into the depths of the Ukrainian Armed Forces positions .

The enemy is conducting barrage fire , using pre-prepared positions, but the Russian Armed Forces continue to exert pressure , forcing the Ukrainian side to transfer reserves and expend ammunition to maintain defense.

This sector is of key tactical importance , as it allows for the creation of a bridgehead for further actions, deepening the control zone along the Dnepr River , and also exerting sustained pressure on the Ukrainian group on the left bank.

🔻The advance in the Konka River area was about 2 km along the route , increasing the zone of tactical control . This movement threatens the enemy's supply lines and its ability to maneuver in coastal defense conditions.

In this area, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are trying to hold the lines , but the active actions of the Russian army and the destruction of fortification positions create a threat of further displacement of the enemy and the destruction of the defensive line in this direction.
