a little behind-the-scenes note for this recent re-upload: my adrenaline and heart were pumping so hard after opening the show with "Aspirations" that when I counted this one off, I truly thought it was at the moderate, almost slow, funk tempo that this song was designed for, but it turns out that the tempo was way faster than intended and the band just took off.

Andre grabbed the baton and ran with it tearing that intro up with a dope rock-infused solo that made my mistake into a success I could've never imagined.

It wasn't the way Fritz would've intended, but since I already have that original version recorded (which Fritz himself has told me was the closest to his intentions he ever heard), I think this different take on the tune was a nice contrast.

I really enjoyed John's solo on this. gave me mad Miles/Rick Brawn vibes, which was EXACTLY what i was going for on this arrangement, especially for that harmon sound on the bridge of the head (melody).

Thanks to my amazing band for making magic, and to Fritz for his wonderful and timeless composition!
