SS United States - Final Journey

The SS United States, an iconic ocean liner and a symbol of incredible American achievements. One of the last ocean liners the world and still holds the speed record of the fastest trans Atlantic crossing in maritime history. The vessel made an impact in maritime history and was something that made America proud of. When it was retired from service, it remained abandoned for 30 years. Until just recently, the ship made way for its final journey to Florida where it will be sunk as an artificial reef. It’s too bad the liner couldn’t be restored, but may the ship be a beautiful sight to explore underwater.
