Gaming Dead Space Isaac Ishimura Necromorphs first game remake low death mostly plasma cutter horror puzzle

Like seriously, why is it always a "Doctor Mercer" who is the main bad guy in all of these "unethical experiment" types? I did get the cannons going but I don't know if that was the best Idea. Probably better to just get out quickly.
