A Minecraft Movie | New Final Trailer (HD)

With the movie's release date looming, the latest news arrives in the form of a new trailer for A Minecraft Movie. Though shorter than the full-length trailer revealed at the end of 2024, the latest teaser is just as in-depth when it comes to explaining the franchise lore. Jason Momoa's Garett is the primary focus of the trailer as he tries to forge something (and ends up with bucket nunchuks), learns about ender pearls, and even has an explosive encounter with a creeper.

Though the cast was largely shrouded in mystery for quite some time, details have finally been revealed about many of the characters. Leading the film is action star Jason Momoa (Aquaman) as Garrett “The Garbage Man” Garrison, and he's joined by Sebastian Hansen's Henry, Emma Myers' Natalie, and Dawn (played by Danielle Brooks). That quartet will be playing four misfits who somehow find themselves in the world of Minecraft. Jack Black will appear as the franchise's familiar protagonist, Steve, an expert at the game who will help them return to the real world.
