The colder, blustery air is filtering into the area right now. We probably will see a few scattered snow or rain showers, but it shouldn't be a big deal. We'll only see highs around 40. We'll clear out the skies tonight with temps tumbling into the mid-20s. Thursday during the day looks cool, but dry with highs in the mid/upper-30s. There won't be much wind, so wind chills shouldn't be a problem. A weak disturbance will move through the area Thursday night. This will also shift the winds bring a little bit of a lake component off of Lake Michigan. This could give areas, especially the farther you live to the east, some light, accumulating snow showers. Lows will be in the low-20s. That chance of some lake enhanced snow shower activity continues Friday morning. Some minor accumulations are possible, especially the farther you live to the east. Gusty winds will usher in much colder air by week's end.  If fact....the first BIG taste of Winter-like temps is on the way.  Along with the chilly temps we will also have a couple more of chances of light accumulating snow.
