Episode 9 of Deck Profiles for BRS - PRE will be about Ting-Lu.

Ting-Lu's role in the format is to be a preventative tool for single prize Pokemon with overpowered abilities taking over. I feel it is very important to make a deck profile video for Ting-Lu for this format now that the format has slowed down significantly and single prize Pokemon with overpowered abilities have generally taken over, namely cards like Munkidori, Drakloak and Kirlia.

Ting-Lu has always been a misunderstood card in that it has always feeled underpowered because, despite its overpowered ability, it's attack isn't as devastating as a card's like Charizard ex. That's because it's designed to be a very bare bones that that succeeds because of its overpowered ability.

Ting-Lu has gained a lot of helpful partners in Dudunsparce and Blood Moon Ursaluna that help manage its board and deal devastating damage, respectively. This fixes a lot of holes in the archetype that originally it did not have the ability to fill.
