Adam's Peak, also known as Sri Pada, is a sacred mountain in Sri Lanka that rises to 2,243 meters (7,359 feet) above sea level. It is famous for the Sri Pada ("Sacred Footprint"), a rock formation at its summit that is revered by multiple religious traditions:

Buddhists believe it is the footprint of the Buddha.

Location: Central Sri Lanka, in the Ratnapura District.

Climbing Season: December to May (best weather conditions).

Pilgrimage: Thousands of devotees and tourists climb its 5,500+ steps to witness the breathtaking sunrise.
