Winter in a Vietnamese Ghost Town

My wife, Rose (a Filipina), and I (an American), travelled from Hanoi to Tam Dao (in Vietnam in December 2024 right before Christmas). We enjoyed the smoky mountain air (hahaha), hiking around the area, the town's beautiful waterfall...and the 3 or 4 other tourists that happened to be there in the middle of winter like us for some reason.
