Sean Thomas travels to Moscow to visit one of Russia’s oldest and most renowned circuses on Tsvetnoy Boulevard, where some of the world’s finest performers deliver breathtaking acts.

‘Circus is an art form that stands alongside the great performances of the Bolshoi and Mariinsky Theatres, as well as La Scala in Milan,’ says Maxim Nikulin, director of the circus and son of legendary artist Yuri Nikulin.
