New ATF Director Kash Patel - What's Next?

Kash Patel has been named the acting ATF Director in addition to his position as FBI Director - but what will that mean for gun owners and gun rights? The ATF has wielded a lot of power under previous administrations and been used as a club to enforce gun control without any legislative action., but we don't know if the mission of the new Director will be to simply undue past overreach and tyranny or to begin dismantling the agency altogether.

We can hope that is bodes well for gun owners and that a pro-gun ATF can be established to oppose future action by those seeking to ignore the Second Amendment entirely.
