Taken By Storm

I will be very specific and super cautious next time I wish for a white Christmas.
Somebody silly got a hold of the snow globe on the mantle and boy, did the fool keep shaking it on and on for too many weeks!
The results are staggering and the community of Camden, among others, has taken a toll seldom seen before.
But Camdenites are resilient and hard-working people.
Day after day, all hands on deck are at work trying to combat the sometimes vicious side-effects of an accumulation of snow that has reached historical records.
And those who have lived here already know, when Camdenites unite, they can move mountains—of snow.
The pictures I collected yesterday essentially speak of the assault of Mother Nature and that momentous effort to cope with it.
While we're very hard at work, let us pray for a reprieve and a decent return to normal in the next few days.
Let us pray for a return to peace and let's put the dreadful Blizzard of 2025 behind us.
Let us reprimand and teach the fool that the snow globe is off limits now.
Let the snow melt and let the healing begin.
We've all been taken by storm, but...
To those touched by the hardship of Grumpy Old Man Winter, let us keep our chin up and take comfort in the beautiful unison of a community.
Let us regain our strength and look forward to the weeks ahead.
After all, spring is just 25 days away!
