2 Corinthians 12:11-21

In this study, Paul wraps up his "foolish" defense of his apostleship and informs the Corinthian church that he intends on coming to them a third time. His hope is to be able to come to them and not have to deal with unrepentant sin. Nevertheless, if need be, he will come in the power of Christ and carry out church discipline towards those who continue in sin. In the final chapter of this letter (chapter 13, next week) Paul will issue his most direct rebuke..."Examine yourselves" to see if there is evidence that you are walking with the Lord. His prayer is that the Corinthians will give him reason to rejoice rather than mourn.
