Whole Wheat Chocolate Chip Cookies made with freshly milled flour

Trying to cut back on processed food and I am focusing this year on freshly milled flour. This type of flour has more fiber, nutrients and vitamins than store bought whole wheat flour.

226g/1cup soft butter
150g/3/4 cup sugar
165g/3/4 cup brown sugar
**mix and cream together for 2 minutes
1 Tablespoon vanilla extract
**mix
2 eggs (add one at a time and mix between each addition)
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
**mix
384g/3 3/4 cup soft white wheat flour
(if you want sift out the largest pieces of bran- this is optional)
**mix until all the flour is incorporated
340g/2 cups chocolate chips (I used bittersweet)
Bake on lined cookie sheets at 375ºF/190ºC 8-12 minutes (mine were done at the 10 minute mark)
Remove the tray and let the cookies sit for 2 minutes, then remove the cookies and place them on a cooling rack

These are SO Delicious!!! They freeze well too
