Autism and its Impact on Families

Mark Fairbanks and his wife Margaret experienced a great sense of isolation as parents to their autistic son, Harry. They found that this is a universal experience for such parents and families. He sought a way to end this isolation and created Islands of Brilliance, an outlet to support and tap into the unique abilities of these children. Mark joins us to discuss the organization and a great event coming up that serves as "the party we never get invited to" for families with autistic children. Colors & Chords from Islands of Brilliance is happening on Friday, November 9 at 5pm at Turner Hall. For more information and tickets, visit PabstTheater.org.
