MIW beat RCBW by 4 wickets in the 7th match of WPL.

The 7th Match of Women’s Premier League 2025 was played between Mumbai Indians Women and Royal Challengers Bengaluru Women at M.Chinnaswamy Stadium Bengaluru on 21st February, 2025.In this match Mumbai Indians Women defeated Royal Challengers Bengaluru by 4 wickets. In this match Mumbai Indians Women won the toss and opted to bowl first.
Royal Challengers Bengaluru while batting first scored 167 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs and gave target of 168 runs to Mumbai Indians Women to win. In reply Mumbai Indians Women scored 170 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 19.5 overs and won the match by 4 wickets.
RCBW batted very poorly and were 51 for thee inside the poweplay. Ellyse Perry top scored with 81 runs from 43 balls only hitting 11 fours and 2 sixes. Richa Ghosh made 28 runs and Smriti Mandhana scored 26 runs from 13 balls hitting 4 fours and 1 sixes. No other batswomen could reach to double figures.
Amanjeet Kaur took 3 wickets and one wicket each went to Shabnim Ismail ,Net Sciver-Brunt, Hayley Matthews and Sanskriti Gupta.
In reply MIW made 170 for 6 wickets in 19.5 overs and won the match by 4 wickets. Harmanpreet Kaur made 50 runs, Nat Sciver-Brunt contributed 42 runs from 21 balls hitting 9 fours. Hayley Matthews made 15 runs. Amanjeet Kaur remained not out on 34 runs and G Kamalini not out on 11 runs and won the match for MIW. Amanjeet Kaur was adjudged the Player of the Match.
