The new face of medical equipment fraud in Florida

It’s one of the fastest growing areas of healthcare- medical equipment.  In fact, medical equipment like pacemakers, wheelchairs, back braces and diabetic supplies is estimated to be a $70 billion industry in the U.S. by 2025.  But scammers are taking notice of the explosion and trying to exploit patients and taxpayers in a new way even seasoned federal agents never saw coming.
