Your Horror Host, Inkarnate returns from the movies with a warning from the theater. Do not watch this movie. What a letdown. This is what I get for being optimistic. I can promise you, no longer. On every conceivable level this movie bothces. The trailers and marketing promised gore, humor, and horror - an L on all counts. I was fine with the film not delving into the origins of either the curse or the toy, but is it asking too much for this movie to have a plot? The humor really does not land in this film, but oh it tries. My how it tries. In a synopsis that reads as a road trip between father and son that turns into the worst kind of family reunion, one would think there would be an interesting twist in store, but the twist that's offered lands flat, much like everything else about this movie. Listen in as Inkarnate does his best to give you fair warning to steer clear of this dud.
