1 Peter KJV

My Lord, you have sanctified us. You have washed us clean and given us new life. You have made us royal priests ready to feed the sheep, and walk in the light (1 Peter 2:9). Our Glory comes from you Lord as we come into communion with Jesus Christ. Hear in First Peter we see that a life of Christ is not met always with piece, happiness, and joy in this flesh. However we will suffer with you Lord, and in that suffering we can find bliss under the blood of Christ. The Lord will teach us in unexpected ways. His mission in our life's is to purify us and clean us. He can only do this freely through the work on the cross that His son Jesus Christ laid his life down for.
Now, with that covering we must go forth, walking in the authority of the new life we have been given. 1 Peter gives insight into a life that glorifies God in godliness. We must suffer, we must fight, we must walk strait, boldly in the gospel, not ashamed, but meek, and ready to serve others in humility. Amen.
