Zizians trans death cult linked to six deaths

A transgender “vegan cult leader” has been arrested after being linked to six deaths across America.
Jack LaSota, 34, was arrested on Sunday alongside another member of the group, Michelle Zajko, 33.
The group known as “Zizians” has been linked to the murder of US border patrol agent David Marland along with five other deaths in California, Pennsylvania and Vermont.

Marland, 44, was killed in a shoot-out on January 20 after pulling a car over in Coventry, Vermont.

Alleged “Zizians” member Teresa “Milo” Youngblut, 21, is accused of carrying out the shooting. They pleaded not guilty.
Other members of the group reportedly include computer scientists who worked for Nasa and Google.
The “Zizians”, mostly in their 20s and 30s, would meet online to discuss radical views on topics such as gender identity, veganism, and AI.
LaSota published a violent blog under the pen name “Ziz”. In one post, they spoke about a theory that the brain hemispheres could hold separate genders and “often desire to kill each other”.

The “cult leader” uses she/her pronouns and has been critical of perceived enemies such as so-called rationalist groups, which speak about AI and human cognition on the internet.
LaSota and Zajko face multiple charges relating to trespassing, obstructing and hindering, and possession of a handgun.
Zajko is also a suspect in the January 2023 killings of their parents in Pennsylvania.
A bail hearing for the two was scheduled for Tuesday at 11am local time at Allegany District Court, in Cumberland.

Prosecutors said LaSota “appears to be the leader of an extremist group known as Zizians” that has been connected to several murders.
According to social media reports, LaSota, appearing by video, told the judge at the hearing: “I shouldn’t be here, I haven’t done anything wrong.”
Judge Erich Bean ordered LaSota be put in jail, saying the leader posed a danger to the community and was a flight risk.
