Biblical Audio Commentary – God’s Blessing for Israel Through Balaam Remains

Blessing? Wait! Didn’t the prophet Balaam curse Israel! Absolutely not. He tried, but God wouldn’t let him. There’s a lesson there for everyone. Regardless of someone’s intent to cause harm and perpetrate evil, if God won’t allow them to do it, then it won’t happen.

I hope to speak more about the concept of evil in a subsequent Commentary, but for now we should understand that regardless of how horrific and wicked acts of violence might be, none of them can occur without the permissive will of God granting their perpetrators the ability to commit them.
