Does the Bible Forbid Jewelry? (Wes Huff - Billy Carson "Debate")

Does the Bible forbid the wearing of jewelry for Christians? In a recent viral "debate" between YouTube personality Billy Carson and Christian apologist Wesley Huff, the subject of jewelry was brought up by the host Mark Menard as one topic of difficulty for him in fully accepting the Bible. The implication was that the Bible inconsistently portrayed jewelry and that it was forbidden for a New Testament Christian. This sparked a defense by Wes, where he attempted to address the passages that Menard was alluding to, explaining it as a reference to first century Christian women being encouraged against "appearing as Greco-Roman prostitutes." Although I appreciate Wes's ministry, I think he completely fumbled this one. In this video, I will give my thoughts on this topic as we look into this subject of jewelry in a systematic way and try to understand what the Bible teaches us about this topic.
