There is no salvation gained nor available in Christianity today. If you're a "Christian", THAT should bother you. There has only ever been salvation IN CHRIST, but Christ is NOT in Christianity cuz it is NOT Christ's invention.
If you want salvation ( assembly required), then you must not only READ the instructions (particularly, the Acts of the Apostles 2:38-39), but DO them.
