QMHW CONNECT WITH COMMUNITY Live Music & Sport Night

Every year our Charity puts on an annual event in October for our multicultural communities in Logan city and surrounding areas. This year we collaborated with local non-profit organizations and Indigenous groups to provide a fun, sports program for the entire family. There were a number of local artists that performed and showcased their talents. Highlights - Amelia from the QMHC came and spoke. Professional singer/songer writer from the Gold Coast, Stephanie Dass sang an original song she wrote with a group of disadvantaged youth in the 5-Partners Logan Project.
This event commemorates Queensland Mental Health Week. Our aim was to promote an awareness to mental illness and to inform people on how one can manage mental illness, help families who suffer from it, and help others prevent it.
