In a groundbreaking move set to reshape one of cinema's most iconic franchises, Amazon’s MGM Studios has taken creative control of the James Bond series. Longtime producers and guardians of the 007 legacy, Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, will step back from their leading creative roles after decades of overseeing the franchise. While Wilson and Broccoli will remain co-owners of the franchise, they have formed a new joint venture with Amazon MGM Studios to house the James Bond intellectual property rights.
