This is no surprise. For four years, I have had discussions with numerous people about the almost 400 million doses of mRNA purchased by the Trudeau gov't for less than forty million Canadians, pointing out that Acuitis and Arbutus, who developed the lipid nano-particle, were receiving a "royalty" payment for every mRNA shot purchased by the Canadian gov't (as well as every other country gov't). Interestingly a couple hundred million of those shots were trashed, because no country wanted the "leftovers". In other words the Canadian taxpayers were screwed. However, it is reasonably speculated that the Trudeau family and friends are shareholders of Acuitis and Arbutus , through various blind trusts and offshore companies, thereby receiving millions of dividends.
